Dr Ahmed M.A. Moharram graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University. He obtained his DIC (Diploma Imperial College) and MSc degrees in 2000 from Imperial College London (University of London) in concrete structures. This was followed by two years in industry (Egypt) working as a bridge and site engineer.
By the autumn of 2002, he travelled again to the United Kingdom where he completed his postgraduate studies by obtaining a PhD degree in structural earthquake engineering from the University of London (Imperial College London) in 2006.
